Annie - cello lessons

Annie is a talented cello performer and teacher with extensive experience across classical, folk, and contemporary music, having graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music (Cello) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Teaching cello through private lessons and agencies including Bruce Music, her students have achieved significant progress from grade 4 to grade 6 levels. She teaches at all levels from beginners to advanced grade 8, with additional experience as a Mini Mozart Teacher for early years and mentoring through the National Children's Orchestra.

Her performance experience includes studying under Ursula Smith and Jonathan Aasgaard, winning awards including the Glasgow Music Festival String Solos Premier Award and Beatrice Huntington Cello Award, and performing with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

She is founding member of folk collectives 'Lydia Laughing' (blending Turkish, English and Scottish folk) and 'small copper' (fiddle and cello duo), and experimental pop band 'Oread', with influences from classical training and folk traditions including courses with Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas.

Annie teaches the cello from beginner to diploma level.
