Katie (Highgate cello lessons)

Katie is a professional cellist and composer based in London who has collaborated with award-winning projects including BAFTA winner "Rock Paper Scissors", ITV's "Coma", and featured on recordings with various UK artists.

A cellist from her early years, Katie's musical journey evolved through her studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she graduated with First Class Honours before pursuing her MA in Composing for Film and TV at the National Film and Television School.

Her experience recording at prestigious Air Studios and receiving the SSL Prize for Recording, Editing and Mixing has shaped her approach to both performance and teaching.

At NFTS, she honed her composition skills across multiple genres in film, television, and session work.

Katie teaches the cello from beginner to diploma level.
