Lydia (King's Cross flute lessons)

American-Chinese flautist, Lydia is a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music, and was recently awarded a Bachelor’s of Music with Honours.

Some of her upcoming engagements include Instrumental Olympics: Academy Baroque Soloists, Knussen Chamber Orchestra with Ryan Wigglesworth, and Royal Academy of Music Schools’ Tour: Temporal Harmonies Inc.

Prior to her studies at RAM, Lydia placed in competitions including Society of American Musicians Young Artist Competition, Enkor International Music Competition, and DePaul Concerto Festival.

As an artist, Lydia values diversity in her sound and strives to incorporate historical performance and contemporary practices. She frequently enjoys collaborating with other composers whenever the opportunity arises.

Lydia teaches flute from beginner to diploma level.
