
Nina (Bloomsbury trumpet lessons)
Nina is a talented and dedicated trumpet teacher based in Bloomsbury, offering one-to-one lessons across Central London.
Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, Nina has performed in venues such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Queen Silvia Concert Hall in Stockholm, and Cadogan Hall in London.
She graduated with a Master of Performance from the Royal College of Music in 2026, where she was awarded the Trumpet Prize in the RCM Solo Brass Competition. Nina also holds a BMus (Hons) from the New Zealand School of Music and a BA in Education & Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington.
Nina mentors brass students at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and has worked with acclaimed ensembles including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington and the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. She recently performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra as part of the BBC Pathways Scheme, and spent four years as a member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, appearing as a soloist with the band in 2024.
A passionate and experienced educator, Nina has led outreach programmes with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, and has adjudicated international competitions including the New Zealand Concert Band Festival solo division.
Nina teaches the trumpet, piccolo trumpet, cornet and flugelhorn, from beginner to diploma level.
