Scott (Hackney drum lessons)

Scott is a talented and dedicated professional drummer and music educator from Glasgow with 13 years of experience in live performance, recording, and teaching, having graduated with an MMus in Creative Practice from Goldsmiths, University of London.

With 8 years of teaching experience and having achieved Grade 8 Drumkit Trinity Guildhall with Distinction, he was placed in the Top 40 of the UK Young Drummer of the Year competition before being mentored by renowned musicians including Steve White (Paul Weller, The Style Council, The Who), Paul Bartholomew (BB King, Jools Holland, Chaka Khan), and Corrie Dick (founder of Mercury Music Prize nominated band Dinosaur).

As an active performing musician, Scott brings exceptional real-world experience to his teaching, having performed at venues including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Abbey Road Studios, supported Ed Sheeran, and is one-third of electronic dance trio "Ebbb" who signed with Ninja Tune and have performed at major festivals including Latitude, Truck Festival, and Reeperbahn Festival.

He has extensive experience teaching drumkit at all levels through the Trinity Guildhall and Rock School syllabuses, supporting students from diverse backgrounds and preparing them for graded exams and music theory tests.
